 Good news! We'll be open every day during February vacation week from 10am to 4pm.

Join us for family snowshoe walks, campfires with homemade marshmallows and bread on a stick, face painting, Abenaki storytellers, farm animals and more. See the daily schedule of events below for more details and to pre-register for our special events!

Saturday, February 16th

11am - 2pm | Campfire with Homemade Marshmallows & Bread on a Stick
Gather around the campfire! Make bread on a stick and roast homemade marshmallows on the fire. After you're done, head up to the Barn to visit the animals.
Suggested donation: $1 per person

11am - 2pm | Face Painting
Visit the Farm and get your face painted by local artist April Horton! FREE with admission to the Children's Farm & Forest.

2pm - 3pm | Abenaki Storytelling
Gather in the heated back playroom to hear Abenaki storyteller Willow Greene share the cultural history of the native tribe and more. The turn out for this event was incredible last year - this something you don't want to miss!!


Sunday, February 17th

11am - 2pm | Campfire with Homemade Marshmallows & Bread on a Stick

5pm - 7pm | Snow Moon Snowshoe Hike
Celebrate the weekend with an adult only evening snowshoe followed by a campfire with libations! Snowshoes included. Hiking poles suggested.

$15, Preregistration is encouraged as space is limited.

 

Monday February 18th

10am - 3pm | Community Art Project
Come down to the back playroom to contribute to our community art project!

 
 

Tuesday, February 19th

10am - 1pm | Sheep Shearing Demonstration
Watch as guest expert Andy Rice demonstrates this technical farming skill. Shearing helps our sheep easily nurse their lambs. Plus, we'll be using the wool for crafts this summer!

Wednesday, February 20th

10am - 11am | Family Snowshoe Adventure
Young, old, small, tall -- this is a snowshoe adventure for the whole family! We'll venture out on the trails and return for a campfire lunch with hot dogs, veggie dogs, bread on a stick, marshmallows, apples, and hot cider. Snowshoes included.

$12, Preregistration is encouraged as space is limited.
