Bartender (Part or Full-time)
Retreat Farm is on a mission to connect people to the land and to one-another. We do this with a vision of creating a more just, healthy, and sustainable community.
Join us as we grow! Retreat Farm seeks outgoing, dynamic, and organized Bartenders (up to 4) to welcome 90,000+ annual visitors and execute 25+ community gatherings and events. Bartenders will provide exceptional customer service, execute seamless events, help lead tours around the property, and manage the day-to-day logistics and operations alongside our Events Manager.
Bartenders will be highly visible Retreat Farm ambassadors responsible for Thirsty Goat bar set-up and breakdown, ensuring a safe and welcoming guest experience, and providing logistical support to fellow Retreat Farm team members.
This is a part-time, seasonal position from May through September, with the possibility of continuation as a year-round shift work position. Bartenders must have availability for a Wednesday to Sunday schedule, including up to two evenings per week, 10-30 hours per week total. Additionally, this position requires both independent and collaborative work.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, who loves people, and knows the power and joy of connection to place. Guests at Retreat Farm span over 500 zip codes ranging from Brattleboro to Buenos Aires. Our visitorship reflects the many communities we serve, and we actively strive to provide an environment that is dynamic, growth-minded, and welcoming to all. Bartenders are critical to helping us achieve this goal.
