This donation-based family-friendly event is for medieval enthusiasts, Armored Combat enthusiasts, and really anyone who loves live music, food trucks, Vermont fine crafts, and a good bar while watching modern day knights compete (quite literally) for the big cheese.
Armored Combat is pretty much what it sounds like: a full contact medieval sport with real armor and real blunted weapons. Vermont Armored Combat Team Captain, Will Alloway, is bringing some of the best in international and national Armored Combat fighters here to Southern Vermont to compete in big group battles, and duels of skill with longsword, sword and shield, axes, and more! Yes, that’s right: we’ve got fighters flying in from the UK, Canada, Texas, and more to give you a show.

Swordplay workshops for kids during the day are in the works with a wonderful local partner. Pre-registration will be required — stay tuned!
