Presented by the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, this introductory course will cover everything you need to know to feel confident ice fishing. Topics covered include ice safety, regulations, equipment, and more. Dress for the weather. Warming huts will not be available.

Let’s Go Fishing is a network of volunteer instructors who encourage and teach Vermonter’s aquatic education on behalf of the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Dept. Volunteers with the Let's Go Fishing Program encourage and teach young people and their families how to fish, emphasizing that fishing is more than just catching fish. Vermont Fish & Wildlife provides support to all instructors through detailed training, curriculum, staff support, and equipment. Annually the program reaches over 8,000 Vermonters and is supported by sport fish restoration funds.

This is a FREE workshop with limited space. Register now to reserve your seat!
