These adventures are a vital way that we meet our mission of “connecting people with the land.” We have acres and acres of land and miles and miles of trails. There’s always something to do so come out and enjoy yourself.
Picnic Hike (choose one)
These two hikes get some elevation and give you something surprising to find.
Harris Hill Ski Jump is just up on Cedar Street, or you can walk the Nature Trail, It's a real live ski jump with a whole picnic field below.
Take the Nature Trail to the Skyline Spur Trail and it will bring you up to the bottom of the ski jump (Red Line). Alternatively, you can drive up Cedar Street to the parking lot (Blue Line).
The Ice Pond is a sweet pool that's very up the hill and it has lovely spots along its edge to sit and listen… and eat and drink.
You can follow the same way as going to the ski jump and then take a right on the Ice Pond Trail (Purple Line) at the top of the Skyline Spur Trail.
